5. Geometry
The Geometry tree allows the user to ensure the input geometry was read and imported correctly in terms of number of volumes (parts).
If the input contains more than one part/volume, the listed volumes will be the result of a union of these parts. Interfaces between volumes in contact are preserved.

From this tree, selecting each volume will open the Volume properties panel. This panel displays the geometry volume, and allows for editing the volume name.

Tip
It is recommended for CAE teams to name volumes (parts) with sensible names common to similar applications. The Finite Element (FE) (pre & validation) analysis in Möbius generates a text results file (CSV), which makes use of volume names and loadcase names to plot total strain energies or mass per part in an assembly setup.
This kind of templating aids to make fast & informed decisions, when comparing different optimized designs in a project.
