16. Advanced

16.1. Model Editor

The Model Editor can be accessed through the Advanced accordion panel. An editor window will open within the browser, allowing users to modify or add commands and features to the analysis input deck. This tool enables programmatic edits of the simulation state. Furthermore, it accommodates the integration of experimental or custom-developed features not yet available in the user interface.

Note

It is important to note that manually editing the state may invalidate its contents. In such an event, you may see errors when saving the simulation - due to the required server-side validation. You should be able to return to an uncorrupted state using the Undo button, although it is helpful to save your simulation before making these edits.

16.2. Import Setup

The Import Setup can be accessed through the Advanced panel. This powerful feature allows for templating models based on set names or set colors. These colors can be defined prior to the import in the UI, or within the CAD software used to export the design space geometry.
