The Materials panel allows generating new material entries, renaming, and applying them to specific volumes.

All anisotropic material types have contextual documentation illustrating the adopted convention (as exemplified in Fig. 11.3). This pop-up can be visualized hovering the information icon (i), or opened with a click.

Fig. 11.4 shows an anisotropic material entry for fiber direction optimization analysis.
